Wow…The Academy Awards this year went where I didn’t think they would go. I am happy to see that ‘GRAVITY’ won the most awards (7 OSCARS), even though it was a commercial hit film. I figured right, that with all those awards it was not going to get best picture, shame, it deserved it. ‘TWELVE YEARS A SLAVE’ was deserving though and for those of you who saw it, you will agree.

I was surprised and glad to see that they gave Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club) the best actor award. He gave an interesting speech as well.

Another interesting thing about this years show was that NO ONE was played off stage by the orchestra. That was much more respectful even though the show ran over, but who cares, it only comes around once a year.

Now on to next year.
