Karzai said two suicide bombings that killed 19 people on Saturday – one outside the Afghan Defense Ministry and the other near a police checkpoint in eastern Khost province – show the insurgent group is conducting attacks to help show that international forces will still be needed to keep the peace after their current combat mission ends in 2014.

Sorry for laughing at this one but really, I didn’t expect this to happen until at least all the US soldiers had left the country.
Afghanistan, true to it’s nature. First they take the help and then they turn on the helping hand when it suits their purposes. I can’t say I wasn’t expecting this because I was. The naive USA sacrifices lives and money to help another Muslim country to only get stabbed in the back. Oh, and don’t think that it won’t happen in Eygpt, because it is a matter of time. These countries only use the West to get what they want and then they shove that long pike up our wazoo. This will not change, it is in the nature of the beast. Maybe someday the beast might mellow out and we will see a change, but, I won’t be holding my breathe to see it happen.
The West is so gullible and these people can see it and they love to use us and then abuse us. We are like sheep being led to the slaughter and we pretend it isn’t the case. We are such fools.
