To Kill A Mockingbird (1962)

130 mins)

As part of the movie you will even see oldtime television commercials. Enjoy them and remember the goood old days.

To Kill A Mockingbird is a classic American film, based on Harper Lee's novel, Horton Foote's screenplay is amazing - and Gregory Peck's performance as Atticus Finch was nothing short of stunning. The story is told through the eyes of Jean Louise Finch, Scout to her friends, as she recalls this tumultuous period many years later. Mary Badham's performance as Scout is flawless. She was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role but lost to Patty Duke for her role as Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker. Had she won, she would have been the youngest person to win this award. 1962 was one of the best years in the history of film. I am convinced this film would have won best picture - but it happened to come out the same year as David Lean's masterpiece, Lawrence of Arabia, with Peter O'Toole. How good was 1962 you ask? On top of those two epic films - you had Mutiny on the Bounty. The Miracle Worker, Days of Wine and Roses, What Ever Happened to Baby Jane, Billy Budd, The Music Man, Birdman of Alcatraz. The Manchurian Candidate, and The Longest Day. Come on Hollywood... get to work and give us another 1962! THIS MOVIE IS ONE YOU SHOULD TAKE THE TIME TO WATCH. YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID.

THE NINE LIVES OF FRITZ THE CAT is the sequel to Ralph Bakashi's famous Fritz The Cat animated movie.
This 1974 animated film is directed by Robert Taylor. It is an adult animation featuring a series of drug-induced vignettes both related and unrelated to life in the 1970s. Starring Skip Hinnant as the voice of the titular feline protagonist , the film is a sequel to Fritz the Cat, the first animated film to recieve an X rating in the United States. Unlike its predecessor, Nine Lives received an R rating. It was also less well-received by critics and audiences alike, although it has since gained an audience as a cult film. PLEASE NOTE CARTOON ANIMAL NUDITY AND HARSH LANGUAGE WITH DRUG USE.

The Calculus Affair (L'Affaire Tournesol) is the eighteenth of The Adventures of Tintin, a series of classic comic-strip albums, written and illustrated by Belgian writer and illustrator Hergé, featuring young reporter Tintin as a hero.
Some, such as Benoit Peeters, in his book Tintin and the World of Hergé have labelled this as the greatest of the series.
