Willis Almost Set for Die Hard 4

The world came to know Bruce Willis as action hero John McClane in the Die Hard films, and now, speaking at the Cannes Film Festival, Willis confirms that he's getting prepared to go back to his roots. According to The New York Post, the actor says that the filmmakers are ready to shoot the fourth installment in the franchise, and that the hopes are that the film will be in theatres by next year.

"We're as close as we've ever got to getting Die Hard 4 started," Willis revealed in the South of France. He continued, "It won't be called Die Hard 4, but that will be the story. Hopefully it will be out next summer."

The movie, which will once again star Willis as police officer McClane, had to be rewritten in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, which obliterated New Orleans last fall. The Die Hard 4 plot had an oil tanker exploding in the Gulf of Mexico causing huge waves to flood the Big Easy
